From the Inside Flap
Jim Derring is a police detective living and working in a small town in northern Maine. His past haunts him every day--but all he really wants to do is work, live his life and take care of his family, but his past keeps finding him. When it does find him, it brings a horrific memory of a past life-changing event that Jim would certainly not want to remember. When Jim begins working a new case in the small town of Bradbury, Maine, he discovers that this new case might not be as new as he originally thought. The demons inside his soul come back to haunt him, and those demons bring along a few of their friends, making him question everything he's known in his life. This is a story of revenge, redemption, horror and love that will leave you spellbound, disgusted, hopeful, angry and possibly confused. There are times, in our lives, when the past should remain exactly as it was, but in Knightmare, it doesn't..........at least not for Jim Derring.
