This is the sequel to my first book, Darkness rising. It takes place a few months after the ending of the first book. The Reaper and his remaining cohorts have turned part of the world into a living hell. Most of the humans of either been absorbed, or turned into Reaper's personal army. The remaining humans hid where they can. A group of humans with super powers, are the only line of defense. Combined with Sea Beast and Zakos, can they make a difference in Reaper's plan. Or will they too fall to his scythe. What about our hero? Will he make it back from the dead? Find out in the sequel, Reversal of Thanatos.
