One evening, a man finds himself in an inadvertently altered state of consciousness. Very much afraid, confused, and uncertain with regards to what should be done; he finds himself falling prey to fearful panic and despair. Just as it seems as though the man is to lose his mind, he feels a tapping upon his lap. The terrified man looks up from his gloom to see the worried, little face of his dog, who silently hints to him that he should pet her. As the man strokes his dog Meeka, he feels a profound comfort coming over him, which calms him to his core. As the moments pass, it is discovered, much to the astonishment of both of them, that the man and dog are able to speak to one another on account of the man's altered condition. Meeka is able to to ascertain that her man is in for a long and strange night, so she offers to tell him stories of dogkind's greatest heroes and tragedies. Although mystified and rather doubtful that this conversation is actually occurring, the man finds himself intrigued by his dog's offer, so he agrees to listen. What follows is a series of fables, wild tales, and even a mythological saga of dogkind's greatest and most celebrated hero. Dog Myth reveals a fantastical and vastly different version of the world we all live upon, and explains how it is we are all here and why we are the way we are.
