Elizabeth, on the other hand, was born unto Royalty, only to have it snatched away in her youth by the evil one, setting her on her own path that brings her to James. Gerald is the means by which these two destined lovers find their way to each other and has suffered greatly at the hand of the evil one and the dominions in his service. For some it is the beginning of the story, for others, it is the ending.
