Officer Lewis Jackson begins his duty with Officer Bob Hudson in Sydney, Australia. After a call about a disgruntled individual Jackson and Hudson are sent to investigate. Officer Hudson is killed by a bite to the neck. All throughout the morning, random acts of violence appear across Australia. Victims are apparently eaten. The Prime Minister Tony Brown orders a curfew and deploys the military to the streets, but this fails to contain the infection. Can Officer Jackson make it to Melbourne where there is one last-ditch attempt in getting out of the country? But more to the point what caused this outbreak?
