When self-appointed zombie authority and website owner, Colas Hunter , and his friend, Nicolette Pierson, involve themselves in a missing corpse investigation, they soon become convinced of a possible epidemic. The report of people killed in a nearby community only confirms their suspicions of an impending zombie invasion. Eventually more evidence is uncovered when dead bodies disappear from freshly dug graves. Country-wide mauling deaths are inexplicably blamed on random wild animal attacks, but the two investigators are unwilling to fall for any government cover-up. They join forces with an experienced, but somewhat out-of-her-league local detective, to find out what’s really going on. The three investigators leave their hometown to see the gruesome evidence firsthand. Soon, Colas is totally convinced of his not-so-wild theories, but he is ignored by everyone in authority, even after he explains his concerns to them. Frustrated by their lack of cooperation, he instead uses his Zombie-hunters.net website, to spread the word of the potential problem, despite being warned not to by the same obstinate local law enforcement officials. The three friends track down the cause of the mauling deaths and soon find themselves in the fight of their lives with living corpses.Could this mean the end of the human race? Can they find the cause and convince the authorities of the problem before it’s too late? Can it be as simple as an unleashed new virus to raise the dead? The zombie apocalypse. It’s real. It’s here. And Colas and his friends are the world’s only hope.
