Rachel Dark-Hallow had been raised by her single mother after her father, Marc Dark-Hallow had chosen not to be a father after the fact. What this meant was that Rachel knew nothing at all about her father and his family. What did intrigue her was the possibility of starting up her fledgling business in the building bearing her surname. With their crisp new business degrees in hand, her university friends and she bought the building and then things changed. The familial heritage that came with the title deeds involved false testimony, proposed witchcraft and executions. One by one the team of four that make up Rachel's circle of friends, her business venture and her future begin to falter. Death seems the only outcome. But could she possibly choose whose death might end the spiraling collapse of her life? The tale leads you surreptitiously down the darkened hallways of deception, unrequited love and endless lies, until the ghosts of the past are all that remain to bank on.
