Gene: The First Hunt

There is nothing so long as the night that never ends… Gene and his sister, Beatrice, are die-hard horror fans! They love watching scary movies and scaring each other. On Gene’s birthday, he and Beatrice are in awe as they open his present and find a pure silver dagger. There’s a note from the knife’s previous owner that says the dagger is used to kill werewolves! As pretty as the dagger is, Gene can’t understand why he would receive it as a gift…after all, werewolves aren’t real. Later that night Beatrice has a bad dream. She’s afraid they’re all in danger tonight. After Beatrice falls back asleep, Gene is up, staring out the window. He’s sure he sees shadows moving in their yard. He turns off the light to have a better view. As the shadows dance in the dark and strange sounds come from downstairs, nothing prepares him for what he sees! And there’s no way he can ever have imagined when the sun rises, his worst nightmare won’t be over, but just beginning!
