PSYCHO-GEHENNA: (MIND-HELL)

Psycho-Gehenna (Mind-Hell) is what I choose to call a horrific, mystery, science-fiction, thriller. I combined all three genres together in order to come up with a new style of fiction writing. I believe that this type of novel is the “Future of Horror,” and I, among other writers, shall champion its introduction to the masses … Mitch K. Dorn is a truly gifted young man who will endure a horrific experience involving aliens, demons, and a prophetic realization of man's destiny. He discovers that he (and a few others) has powers that are beyond most human being’s comprehension; God-given powers that were only accessed because some people had the innate ability to utilize more than just 10 percent of their brain. They say that Jesus Christ walked on water. Well, wouldn’t you believe that you could, too, if your mind had not been limited by God himself … in order to protect mankind FROM itself. These people are about to find out, and not only will they have to deal with their newfound abilities, but they will have to contemplate the horror of a being that is bent on using one of them to free itself from an alien prison that was sent to Earth. What would an alien race have to do with the proposed evolution of man? You see … Adam (from the Bible) was not God’s first attempt at creating man. God made ONE mistake ... and there was a reason why the Bible depicted everything from the creation of the Earth to its end, but it didn't mention the dinosaurs. Some things had to be edited out ... to protect us! A select few will discover the true meaning of life: To evolve! Man was born to be God’s equal one day, but only after many millennia of what scientists choose to call evolution. Then, and only then, would mankind be able to handle the powers that He had bestowed upon them. Mitch and his family will gain access to this power and not only use it to protect themselves … but the world. “The end is only the beginning,” and from the ruins of their shattered reality will rise a group of Heroes; heroes who will one day survive just long enough to realize man’s destiny. About the Author

My name is Brian M. Worley (Brian M.W.); I have been writing ever since I was six years old, and now, it is finally time for me to share something with the masses. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in a part of the city called Mt. Airy. A lot of the experiences that I had growing up seems to have manifested within the hearts and minds of my characters. Most of the people that I create are loosely based off of people that I know (even myself sometimes) which makes what they might be thinking, at any given time, appear to be more real; simply because the person that they are based on would have thought that way. A lot of "Psycho-Gehenna" began as pure fiction, but I believe that there is some truth to it in the end. And "H.O.T.E.L." is a suspense thriller that came to me in a nightmare that I had once while returning from a life-changing endeavor in Swansea, South Carolina. My harrowed past has thankfully led me toward a bright future, and despite my many hardships (like literally getting stabbed in the back by my best friend and experiencing death, up close and personal, for the first time) I wouldn't have had it any other way.
