The Red Tide Apocalypse Second edition (1)

The Red Tide Apocalypse is the first installment in a series of books detailing a world wide pandemic and the people who try to quell it. In this first tale, governments and civilians are forced to fight organized hordes of Red Eyed hunters whose only goal is to infect and convert all humanity. In the US, healthy humans are forced to surrender large swaths of land to the infected. As the survivors retreat, the enemy infiltrates several areas within the government-held territory. This development depletes the resources of the healthy survivors.
