The Legend of Blue Cloud In the Magic Valley region of Idaho, Professor Edwin Greyhawk visits a local middle school to speak to the students about the Native American history and culture of the area. He shows the schoolchildren an ancient Native American artifact called The Willing Stone. When one of the students touches the Stone, he falls into a trance and has a disturbing vision of the world beyond the Blue Cloud. Banished from this world centuries ago by local tribal medicine men, the evil spirit, White Eyes, lies in wait behind the Blue Cloud curtain that now separates his prison from our world of space and time. He plots to lure all with the ‘Gift of the Stone’ to his domain, when he will then be free to break his bonds. Now the Blue Cloud is about to be reopened and White Eyes plans to return to this world and seek his revenge. Only one boy is capable of foiling White Eyes’ plot to escape and save all those with the Gift of the Stone trapped behind the Blue Cloud with him. The Legend of Blue Cloud is a mythical tale of enchantment, terror, danger, betrayal, and ultimate redemption. It is a story full of magic and mayhem played out behind the Blue Cloud hiding in the Snake River Plains of southern Idaho.

He shares with the family an old Shoshone dreammyth called The Legend of Blue Cloud. He claims that the evil sprit White Eyeshas trapped both Cora and Ben into his domain.
