You always used to think that little girls were cute, didn't you? Especially those little girls in ballet uniforms: skin-tight little leotards and pure white tights, and their tiny little feet bound up in ballet slippers. And as if those outfits weren't enough, they get to dance around, graceful and innocent, like little flowers. It wasn't enough for you just to admire them. You really wanted to be a sissy little princess yourself. You wake up to discover that this is you. You're a six year old girl. You're wearing tights and a leotard. You're a prima ballerina. You have been totally transformed—every cell in your body, even your DNA. You are a real girl. And you can call me Mom. And I'm so glad that you took such a keen interest in girls' stuff. You're going to be so happy as my daughter—and as a ballerina. Your future is going to be singing and dancing, wearing pretty dresses, acting like a princess. You will wear a dress every day. If you're good, I might even let you try on some of my lipstick! But only if you do all your chores. I can be a loving and gentle mother but I am also firm. I'm extremely clingy—kind of like those tights you're wearing. Frankly, I'm going to smother you and I don't care about people who might say that I'm being a domineering mother. I think a little girl needs to be smothered by her mom. It's because I love you and I want you to blossom into the beautiful little flower you are. We're going to have a lot of fun together! Welcome to your new life as a girl!
