Blood Oasis: Book 1 of the War of the Races series

This story revolves around a detective who is surrounded by loneliness and isn’t chained down by the shackles of right or wrong, good or evil and consequences. The only moments of joy in his deserted life occurred only when he was in an intense situation where his life was on the line. But when things settled down, he was left with emptiness again.But on one fateful night, Leo(Protagonist) crosses the line in search of thrill and finds himself in a dilemma where he has two options, save a child’s life or his own. But Leo disregards the consequences as usual and agrees to be a part of an experiment where the scientists were trying to carve up a hole in space-time.The scientists’ original intent was to breach the spacetime for teleportation but little did they know, they were creating a door to another dimension. The dimension that Leo steps in is utterly different. It is a completely different timeline where different species of humans, instead of being extinct are thriving side by side. At that time he fathoms that all of the myths that he has heard have some original beginning. It is then revealed to him that the Elves and Dwarves that he has seen on the TV were actually the Neanderthals and Denisovans(SPECIES OF THE GENUS HOME i.e our ancient cousins).The demographics of that dimension were quite alarming. Humans and Elves were at war with each other. Another power was rapidly emerging on the face of earth known as Rogue nation led by Ash who was a halfblood. Leo was captured by the Elvian army and was thrown in the dungeon with Jamal. Leo helps Jamal and his friends break out of the prison where it comes to its knowledge that Jamal was actually a high-ranking officer in the Rogue nation. In that dungeon, he meets himself from another dimension who surprisingly is a vicious killer. They successfully managed to break out but still, it wasn’t enough as there was an informer between the escapees who disclosed their secret whereabouts. In the end, only Leo, Jamal and two others managed to enter Lahochi, a Lawless city ruled over by Mafia, Bounty hunters and Rogue nation. All four of them were about to enter their safe house when they were surrounded by the mafia and bounty hunters. They got injured and were about to get killed when Ash along with his companions reached for their aid. A war was about to break out but Ash’s excellent leadership saved the day and brought them back home. Leo’s worries didn't end there. A bigger evil was waiting for him on the other side.
