Stretch your timeline.”That’s how the commercial went anyway, but the much-anticipated vaccine has done just the opposite. Instead of living longer, people are dying younger, rapidly aging in a world turned upside down by a pharmaceutical backfire. There’s hope, however, on the northern tip of Long Island, where a mysterious substance has been found in the soil, a substance that holds the key to the cure. Amanda Wayne, disgraced CEO of Arc Pharmaceuticals, teams up with winemaker Carter Warren, to try and stop the medical monster she created. But forces are at work against the unlikely pair. A showdown is coming, a fight that could mean the country’s salvation—or its demise.
