The November Country

This Revisited hardbound edition is composed of eight short stories taken from the original anthology of sixteen short stories known as The November Country, by George Roland Wills.A couple of the stories are serious rewrites and one of them, An Evening with Notorious Portefoy, is brand new to The November Country series, making a total of nine stories in all. This is an abridged 550 page version of that original paperback book made to fit the 550 page requirement for hardbound publication. These stories were chosen for their value as stories as well as the fact that several of these stories, Doombaley, The Metamorphosis, The Secret Life of Lifeguards, and Have You Ever Seen The Rain? have never been previously released in hardbound, nor even released as individual stories in their own right. These stories are in the same short story style as The October Country by Ray Bradbury yet with more emphasis on ghost story fiction and the WHAT IF? Situational possibilities.George also has an anthology of long stories entitled South of Margaritaville and an anthology of poetry entitled SEVEN-THIRTY THURSDAY, as well as a number of other novels and novellas.
