About the Author

Laura Roach Dragon is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Born in Missouri, she has lived most of her life in New Orleans and cherishes the history and culture of the Crescent City, which inspires her work and writing. She received a BA in psychology and MSW from Tulane University. Dragon specializes in working with children and adolescents at River Oaks Hospital in New Orleans.Laura Roach Dragon is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
