A Family Is Woven (The Stellas Trilogy Book 2)

My sister and I screwed up the whole arrangement, but we were only trying to help.Deals had been made, and a bargain had been struck. Peter had an agreement with the Old Ones that he would be allowed to live long enough to kill Karsten, and once he’d completed that task, he and the other members of the Quest would cease to be. Once Karsten was dead, Peter’s life and the lives of Daniel, John and Dana would be over. Sukee and I were only peripherally involved, mostly because Sukee’s daughter Anya was Karsten’s next target, but partially because I was Karsten’s Stellas twin. But between me staying behind and trying to starve Karsten and Sukee burying a kitchen knife in the guy, the original plans of the members of the Quest have gotten severely tangled up. John, Daniel, Peter and Dana now have a future, and we’re trying to build a life together. Aside from the ordinary struggles of finding jobs, learning to drive and remembering passwords for on-line banking, we have a serious worry. Anya’s powers are getting way out of hand. Her ability to Time-Walk on her own could put her right back in Karsten’s path, and her ability to pull skin transfers may destroy her from the inside.
