The Darkness will get you. Little David Hazard has disappeared from his mother's home. "The Darkness" takes an unconventional approach to storytelling by utilizing the same characters introduced in the traditional mystery "Crucifixion" (although both novels can be read separately) and placing them in a ghostly horror story ... where they attempt to use ordinary detective principles -- until they understand they are not dealing with something ordinary ... or someone human.
