Not all genetic engineers are well intentioned. Some are sociopaths. Loosely based on The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells, this original tale is an intense ride on the other side of the petri dish. Not all of those dishes are clean. Some of them contain wriggling DNA with evil intent. Gertjan was born in Amsterdam. He grew up in Maastricht, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Viking, Edgerton, Kelowna, Eckville, and is continuing the process in magnificent Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. He earned two Bachelor's degrees with distinction and served as a high school fine arts teacher for 20 years, until quitting in 2001 in order to write books. He is presently at work on his 18th tome; six of which are published, so far.
