The Raveners

World War One General Karl von Wittelsbach was long dead, just a character in a book to military historian Dr. Lexa Horne. Working for the Imperial War Museum in London, Lexa’s life is her research, feeding her obsession with the long dead general. A chance business trip as a museum expert to excavations at the old front lines in France is about to change the entire world as she knows it. She hopes she’s going to see one of General von Wittelsbach’s command trenches. Instead she discovers a thousand year old secret the Catholic Church has worked very hard to hide. From the hundred year old war that that has been her life, Lexa becomes mired in a thousand year old struggle between the Catholic Church, the Jews of Jerusalem and a cursed group called the Ga’ashekelah: the Raveners. From the bustling streets of Paris to the azure waters of Collioure and the very Vatican itself, Lexa will discover the Raveners and those who have sworn to hunt them down.
