Ouroboros: A Zealot of the Order

Ikaika's reputation and life decline. He saved Thalamus, someone that lived on the other side of the tracks. Disrupting the status quo, Ikaika loses the support of his community and his position as mayor. On his last day as mayor, Thalamus’s name is on a search warrant. Curiosity strikes, causing Ikaika to investigate the address.After following some leads, Ikaika is harassed, jumped, and beaten. He finds himself on the news as a wanted man. A strange package arrives, telling him that he needs to leave his home and take his passport that same night. Unwelcome visitors adds to his urge to follow the instructions in the letter.Ikaika needs to clear his name or he will go to prison. If he is caught by Thalamus and his group, then he might die before law enforcement can find him. He meets Clair, the only person that provided aid when there’s nobody around to trust. Ikaika becomes a pawn and must put himself in greater danger in a world that he didn't know existed before.Full of paranoia, psychological turmoil, and what lies beyond the other side of the door, this story opens a dark reality that only the wealthy can stomach.
