From the time we are children, we are taught that there are no such things as ghosts. We still told ghost stories as kids because fear is fun, so the scarier the story the better. And of course they’re all just stories, until it happens to you. Then you find that fear is no longer fun, and the story you are in is a terrifying nightmare that from which you cannot be awakened. Such was the case for four young friends from the Bay Area town of Cascade, where they meet the old man who lives in the creepy house at the end of the block and find themselves in a nightmare that none of them could have imagined. "it happens sometimes" is the 6th novel from author Mark Leftridge. Leftridge is known for writing blockbuster movies on paper with plot lines that defy a reader to put it down. His titles include; Our Bridges Made of Sticks, A Tangled Web We Weave, Safe Sects, When The Hangman Weeps, and The Bachnahl Corridor.
