About the Author

D.E Halligan is a writer, editor and coach to aspiring writers by night. By day, she is a carer to her grandmother. She has been actively involved in the Roleplay community of several MMORPG's, creating hundreds of short stories concerning her own characters and aiding other players in similar pursuits. As an aspiring novelist from an early age, she understands the issues faced by new writers and has been a gentle and guiding hand to those interested in the craft, helping them to grow better with time. Through example, she teaches beginners how to make their story flow and how to captivate a reader straight from the opening paragraph. In her free time, she enjoys watching films, playing computer games and reading novels of various genres. Some of her favourite authors include Terry Pratchett, JRR Tolkien, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, David Gemmel and Robin Hobb.
