Annie Sears, a young aspiring novelist, finally gets the juices flowing to create her next attempt at what could be her first published book. It's a subject matter she never thought she would ever be writing about. The main character in her novel is a journalist whose story begins during the Vietnam War in the sixties. In finishing and sending manuscripts out, she is surprised by its glorifying reception. But soon she is confronted with accusations of her having stolen the story from someone else. And, on top of that, her life becomes threatened by unknown sinister characters. "It's All In Your Head" is a supernatural mystery, involving an "illicit commodity" being smuggled around the world, transpiring from the sixties to the eighties, mixed with tones of light amusement coming from Annie's simple life in Pasadena, California.
