A zombie created by a company to procure victims for it's gruesome experiments on people walks the streets of Jacksonville, Florida's Riverside area. The monster feeds on the frontal lobes of the dead, and has the power to talk anyone into doing anything he wants them to do... Another company, aching to outpace it's rival, watches with interest. It hires a homeless man to be it's detective in the city, to find what it can't, and to root out the problem. A hero works at night as well, to remove the stress from his day job, and stalks the streets looking for criminals that keep placing his city at the top of national crime horror lists. The three men all see the effects of each other, and how their own actions shape the world around them in small ways. Silvertongue is not a book for children, and has a warning attached for a reason, and it's best left to parental discretion for any minors. But, it is a solid read that is gaining international attention, and should be considered for sampling by anyone curious or with a taste for adult-level horror fiction.
