Spring Break in Mexico. Drinking and drugs. Surf and sunshine. Feeling adventurous, a group of young travellers decide to visit some Mayan ruins and stay the night in a small town off the regular tourist track. But the town’s inhabitants are strange and sickly, with red, bloodshot eyes. The townsfolk have been replaced by vampiric creatures known as Aswang. Shapeshifters who drink the blood of humans and suck unborn babies out of their mothers’ wombs. Skinny enough to hide in impossibly small places. Inhumanly strong, unnaturally fast. Trapped, the tourists will have to fight their way out or lose more than just their lives.
