In the summer of 1966 Capt. Thompson and the USS Banner had embarked on a mission deemed Top Secret. Three scientists including Dr. Rieko Ishii, daughter of infamous WWII war criminal Shiro Ishii, were assigned to the Banner's highly confidential mission to investigate a mysterious and disturbing phenomenon affecting the local population on a remote island. As the horror surrounding the island reveals itself, the officers and crew of the Banner begin to suspect foul play.
