It is how you handle those moments that define who you truly are. Alex must come to terms with the very real possibility that she may have lost Callan's love forever while in the same breath preparing herself for her part in the prophecy. Of course that might be possible if she knew her role in the End of Days. It was a good thing that she was an expert at rolling with the punches. Although reaper angel Kat might strongly disagree with that analogy. In book three of the Guardian Angel series Alex must learn to protect her heart while becoming the person that she had been prophesized to be. But at what cost? If you want to know if Alex can have her chocolate cake and eat it too I guess that you will have to continue on Alex's journey with her to find out. The Guardian Angel series should be read in this order: Guardian (Book 1) Devils Arm (Book 2) Soul Sword (Book 3) Ascension (Book 4)
