The Knights Templar of the Order of Saint Benedict exist to hunt witches, and Captain Silas Flint is one of the best. He's put dozens of witches to the torch over the course of his career, so it comes as a shock when his Chapter House receives word that a witch has turned herself in. She claims to repent of the dark arts and wishes to make amends. Flint is suspicious, but he and his faithful assistant Ricardo Navarro are ordered to the city of Jordan where she is currently incarcerated.Does the witch truly wish to change her ways? Or is this some sort of trap? Flint is determined to learn the truth of the matter, but he may be in for a bigger challenge than he realizes.
