About the Author

Patricia A. Peirson is a former professional ballerina who now channels her creative talents into writing full time. She has authored two produced screenplays: Lancelot, Guardian of Time and Joseph's Gift. Her children's play The Emperor's New Rags was accepted for publication by Plays, The Drama Magazine for Young People. Included in this publication is her short story Coming Home, which placed third in the 2010 Scare The Dickens Out of Us contest. Also included is And the Sea Shall Comfort Thee, which appeared in a volume of Dreams & Visions (Skysong Press). Ms. Peirson also writes extensively for the education market, in association with companies such as Discovery Education and Schoolhouse Network. Several of her works, including a short story and reader's theater piece, were published in Voices (Zaner-Bloser), an anthology of literature for children. Patricia lives in Winnetka, California, with her husband and mentor George and a lovely assortment of cats.
