Marcus Burnaby: The Devil Duellist Part Two

Thrown into Hell, surviving Man's inhumanity towards Man, Marcus Burnaby is a tormented soul by the very nature of his own being- subsisting as a heroic figure against demonic invasions whilst living as a vagabond Mercenary for hire at the behest of the British Empire. Burnaby finds new enemies and greater perils battling against a fiendish assailant in the titled story 'The Devil Duellist', here we see Burnaby's compulsion to follow British rule as he must defend a propserous land owner in rural England against a hellish denizen, but all is not as it seems. Further reading sees Burnaby fighting to imprision a vile necromancer in 'The Witch', driven to seal away the foul, demonic woman after numerous issues of execution fail. In 'Tempest Brotherhood', we find Burnaby following an avenue of his own interest to a reclusive getaway for those rich and powerful, where inrtigue and coercion are thick in the air, and Burnaby must confront a deadly human force, hell bent on infamous ideals. Battling across post Napoleonic Europe Burnaby face a myriad of nefarious agents, battling an unknown force sweeping the world, threatening the very soul of Humanity.
