As I begin this series, Monsignor John Hildebrand, a diocesan exorcist for the Catholic Church,finds himself having lost his second, Father Ryan, due to sickness and advanced years. It is at this point, that the local bishop recommends a relatively new priest to Monsignor John,believing that he,Father David Broderick,possesses the qualities and demeanor to pick up where Father Ryan had left off.The bishop couldn't have been more right in his selection,as Monsignor John soon finds out. Wasting no time in bringing Father David up to speed on what will be their first battle with evil as a team, he reveals to David, the case of Louise Licari, a woman who the Church as deemed,diabolically possessed of the devil. It is from this point forward, that this newly formed duo, moves headlong into the realm of pure evil, doing battle with the very forces of hell, to free the victim from the clutches of Satan's grasp.
