When Beck and her friends find themselves stuck in another dimension, unfathomable things happen. Can she get them out of there before things turn from bad to terrible? Excerpt of Book 2 in "Protectors of Humanity":JP rolls his eyes and starts walking ahead of us. I see the twins give each other a nervous look. They then look back at JP who’s not even looking back to see if we’re following him. I look at Audrey, and she just shakes her head.We follow JP. Audrey’s walking next to the forest, picking up large pieces of wood as we make our way down the beach. She seems to have a little dance in her step. Why is she dancing?Darren falls back and takes up the rear. Meanwhile Deonna struggles to keep up with JP. I’m not really watching where I’m going, since I’m mesmerized by the waves and the grey sea foam. Between the puddle I fell in, the upside-down waterfall, and now the ocean, water just seems to attract me in this dimension.
