Police investigate what is initially ruled a homicide, and set out to find the killer. As the investigation continues, discrepancies are found that seem to indicate that the murderer is a doppleganger. As the lead detective unravels more clues, his personal life begins a downward spiral. As he tries to keep his sanity intact, he finds himself visited in dreams by a faceless man in a suit. With his life in utter shambles, he attempts to end his own life, only to discover that the suspect he sought to find may have been right in front of him the entire time.
