Giant in the Woods is the first of a "Bigfoot Trilogy" by Phillip A. Elwood. It is a fast paced narrative about a small town in Washington State that's plagued by persistent encounters with a giant creature they all believed a myth. Local authorities call in specialists to track down the beast only to be thwarted by a vengeful old man bent on the creature's destruction. Fast paced and theoretically accurate; the story takes a few twists and turns that leave the reader wanting more.
