Blood Magnolia (El Hombre Lobo)

BLOOD MAGNOLIA is the second in a series of stories about Chance Lafontaine and BB Cogburn. The setting for the story is the area around Brice's Cross Roads and Tupelo in northern Missippi. When Greg Banyan calls for help, Chance and BB go on an unexpected honeymoon to Tupelo, but Greg is blown to smithereens in an apparent accidental natural gas explosion before they get there. But all is not as it seems. Doctor Samantha Confondre Cercueil shows up and tries her best to bed the werewolf down in order to become pregnant. Her plans are evil. So much so, that she plans to throw the Devil out of Hell and take over what she thinks is her rightful inheritance. John Creed returns and wants his 'payment for services rendered' from the Voodoo Queen. The monstrous battle between Chance and Ulysses Baxter continues after the former Coroner of Marshall County returns from the dead and goes after our hero to finally put an end to what he sees as a thorn in his side. What would a trip to Brice's Cross Roads be without a visit from the ghosts of the men that fought there. Will their continuing battle in the afterlife overflow into our realm?
