Had I known then what I know now, I would have told my best friend to leave me out of her idiocy and hung up the phone. I didn’t, though. No, I acted like one of those girls in horror movies that we all make fun of and walked straight into the arms of evil. There’s an old plantation home turned bed and breakfast that’s supposedly haunted about a two and half hour drive from our home town of McRae, Georgia. My bestie, Riley Jones, and I took off an entire week for Halloween… because we’re strange like that… and she found out that there was a massive party going on in the B&B for Halloween weekend. The tickets were bought and our bags were packed and we went on our oblivious little way to spend 3 days and 2 nights drinking and being hit on by hot frat boys. Or, that was the plan anyway. It didn’t exactly go that way, though.
