Totenkopf

In TOTENKOPF a postal worker from Hanover, Germany finds a letter written by a doomed art dealer during the final moments of WWII. Included with the letter is a handwritten map marking the location of a mysterious buried treasure. The letter writer's descendant, Makim Stoller, together with his wife Jo, decide to make the trek across Germany and investigate. They soon find themselves embroiled in a search that has been in progress for over 70 years, one that spans the decades since the Holocaust. The story of their quest traces the path of a demonic dream---a plan of purification and conquest that propelled Hitler's Third Reich. Caught in a web of intrigue, Nazi occult, and death...and pursued by a shadowy cabal...the couple's search ends in an ultimate showdown at an unhallowed place: Kastell Wewelsburg, SS Reichfuhrer Himmler's Grail Castle and center of the Nazi universe, now a tourist attraction. The blood treasure and what it really is (or is not) now lies in the balance. Thoroughly researched and mixing historical characters with fiction, TOTENKOPF is an exciting tale of exploration which takes place during a very dark period of WWII at the war's bitter and destructive end. Suitable for YA readers
