Newburgh Nights

Newburgh, New York. October 16th, 1987. Clint Reeves, a motorcycle mechanic struggling to make a living in the crime-ridden lower east end, tries to cope with his parents' death while living with his younger brother, Dustin, in their eerie apartment building. In the midst of a series of disturbing paranormal events, Clint and Dustin find a long lost friend in their new neighbor, Diane Jackson. They soon realize there is much more to Diane, and themselves, than meets the eye. The paranormal activity in the apartment worsens with the reemergence of shadowy figures from their past, led by a mysterious entity wearing a black hat. This man will change each of them forever, and leave horror in his wake.

About the Author

Brian Ladlee is an author, artist, and illustrator working in the horror, fantasy, thriller, and science fiction genres. In 2013, he returned to work on earlier drafts of what would become The Nocterram Series of novels and accompanying graphic novels. The first novel of the series is his debut novel; Newburgh Nights, a horror story set in Newburgh, New York during the fall of 1987. In 2015, he released Newburgh Nights, and in 2016 began writing and illustrating the sequels and accompanying graphic novel adaptations for the series as well as a number of other books. His upcoming book releases include Tracks: a collection of short horror stories, The Nocterram: the second book of The Nocterram Series, and the third and final book of the series: Zethermancers.
