Something evil grows within the fabric... In the 1800's, well meaning slaves in Georgia on the Carlton Plantation had to find a way to hide a sacred piece of Kente Cloth from the slave owners. To preserve this piece of home, they crafted a quilt hiding the sacred piece within the fabric from the plantation discards. It was a special quilt sewn by special quilters bound by a special ancient African song. The quilt comforted the newborn into the world and the elderly to the next. Until something evil began to take over. Strange noises and foul smells are manifested and unexplained death followed. They must get rid of it... Once abandoned in an old hollow hanging tree, the dormant quilt lived and festered until it was brought out through two more generations. The evil took more lives fed and grew stronger... In the year 2006, an enterprising young family falls victim to the evil in the quilt. The family works together and through research, finds the secret to its destruction... Or so they thought...
