On an African summer night, Angeline sits by the fire with other children to listen to her strange cousin Ziah tell creepy folk tales: the disgruntled sister whose plan of vengeance turns into a nightmare; the mistreated boy who makes a strange pact with four invisible demons; the family of villagers that fosters a mysterious child with grisly consequences; the valiant teenager who sets out to destroy a demon haunting his village. The challenge set by Ziah is simple: listen to the tales till the end to prove you are not scared. Cynical Angeline thinks she can do it, but will evil-looking Ziah let her win easily?
