Smart, tough, and sexy. Those are just a few of the words people would use to describe Ember, and not necessarily in that order. Then again, being a witch with a penchant for the kind of magic almost exclusive to dark, steamy nights soaked in lust, it's easy to get them mixed up. Content would have been another choice word, if you asked her. With a successful apothecary that helped the people of her community, and no shortage of lovers eagerly awaiting their chance to try and satisfy her, it was the kind of life that Ember was happy to live in peace for a very long time. Too bad there were some people who didn't feel the same way.
