Since the fall of the Angels of Darkness, the war has been fought. The war may not be taking place in the open, but it most certainly has casualties. People don’t see the two groups of combatants, not in the open anyway: the angels and the demons. There’s no truce; there’s no quarter given. It’s a war that’s red in tooth and claw. Slightly outside of this war, there are two types of special people on the earth: Strong Walkers and Prison Keepers. Walkers are capable of becoming a Keeper, but most don't ever get the privilege. There is only one Keeper at any one time. The duty of the Keeper is long and arduous. A Keeper's only job is to keep the soul of Lucifer securely imprisoned and separate from his hidden body.
