About the Author

Born in 1968, Rick Kiefer (Blackwolf) was raised for a short period of time with his natural family who are Native American and Irish. At that time in history, the United States still practiced a policy of removing native children from their family as a means to incorporate them into American Society. After many years, the author returned to his ancestry, both in practices and beliefs. The name Blackwolf was given to him in a ceremony.
