About the Author

Paul Papa is a full-time writer who has lived in Las Vegas for more thanthirty years (making him vintage as well). He developed a fascination with thetown, and all its wonders, while working for close to fifteen years at severalLas Vegas casinos. In his role as a security officer, Paul was the person whoactually shut and locked the doors of the Sands Hotel and Casino for the finaltime. He eventually became a hotel investigator for a major Strip casino,during which time he developed a love for writing true stories about uncommonevents. Paul is the author of several non-fiction books on Las Vegas including: It Happened in Las Vegas: Remarkable EventsThat Shaped History and Discovering Vintage Las Vegas: A Guide to the Timeless Shops, Restaurants, Casinos, & More.
