A fantasy thriller which explores survival paths of twenty-one people in the face of an unprecedented global catastrophe. The story begins in the year 2014. Humphrey Nortgaden knew the predictions within the old prophesy for 2012. But the calculated timeline was wrong. The old predictions are taking place now, 2014. As an astronomer, he sees the changes in the night sky, and he can do nothing but wait for the cataclysmic outcome. Others sense the driving need to build things that float. Still others are perplexed yet driven to gather articles for survival, silly things, trivial things, but all basic items to maintain life. But survival from what? The Government is silent and sounds no warning to the masses, even as those same World Government officials leave un-announced in huge spaceships. In the blink of an eye, the quakes begin, cold rains fall unceasingly, after that, floods come. The sun oddly sets and rises in the wrong places. People panic. There is no place to go, no place to hide. But a few find safety in boats and floating things. These are the survivors, twenty-one of them to be exact and diverse on every level. Amazingly, their boats are drawn to one miraculous mountain. The fight to survive is fierce, and they clash emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Lines are drawn and knives clash. Not all live through these events. Then two of the leaders discover a profound document, listing the names of those who were chosen to survive the chaos,--- and then they learn why they were chosen and who did the choosing.
