Black Paw

Oak Lake Springs is a quiet and seemingly normal Georgia town that is hiding a dark and frightening secret, of a past that the fanatical and xenophobic residents keep under wraps. Tamara has lived all her life in the sleepy town, amidst the tales and speculation, and the terrifying story of a Mexican family who was burned to death in their own home. It is a legend that has been passed on by word of mouth and each telling embellishes it more than the last. Why was the family burned? Tamara wants to know the answers. Along with a group of friends and a boy who is beginning to awaken feelings in her that she never knew existed, Tamara decides to spend a night in the woods. But they soon discover that they are not alone. Something evil is lurking in the woods; something that the inhabitants of Oak Lake Springs thought was long dead and buried. Now the past is about to catch up with them in a way they had never expected. Will Tamara and her friends survive their night in the woods?
