About the Author

JOHN WEAGLY likes squids. His short fiction has been nominated for a Derringer Award 5 times, winning one in 2008, and has been nominated for a Spinetingler Award. He's also won a few other awards and contests and has received honorable mention in Year's Best Fantasy & Horror. As a playwright, he's had over 60 plays produced by theaters around the world. He is an ensemble member at Raven Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. Other short story collections include The Undertow of Small Town Dreams and Velvet Whispers in the Crossfire Night.
