A very unique but nevertheless compelling story about Nikki, who is a product of a small town comprised of small and narrow minded people. She attempts to seek vindication in her own way as she makes her way towards her breaking point. The vocabulary and dialogue used here is, roughly speaking, a type of "redneck language." While it might sometimes be difficult to understand while reading, it adds to the authenticity of the characters as well as the small town environment the story plays out in.
