Allison Townsend loves being the "fun" auntie, but after a while, she longs for a child of her own. She and her husband Bill imagine a home full of children. They buy a dilapidated Victorian house with six bedrooms and historic architectural details. But unlike the neighbors, their house lacks a ghost. When the ghost tour stops across the street and the costumed guide wows the tourists with his stories, Allison feels a little bit jealous. After a time, her house does acquire a haunting of its own, but in a way Allison never would have guessed.
